In the Denby Design department, they are always experimenting with new decorative and glaze techniques to create their collections.

Designed to have the look and feel of studio pottery the Studio Blue Accent has evolved over time to be something organic and fluid that's uniquely different across every piece. The glazing application is another new decorating technique introduced into the pottery named 'Flooping' as this is the sound the glaze makes when hand poured on the items. The nature of how the platters and bowls are hand glazed give them a truly artisanal feel, as we allow the glazes to flow from the faces to the backs creating a pattern that cocoons them. The accents items contain the 4 glazes that feature within Studio Blue so they combine beautifully to enhance the core range and offer a whole range of possibilities to dress the table and the home.
