All our products are measured in Centimetres (cm). Our depth is the measurement from top to bottom, our length is the measurement from side to side, and the width is the measurement from front to back. Capacity is also measured for items that might be used to contain liquid. How we measure capacity is detailed below.

The numerous ranges and designs we have produced at Denby span over 200 years but the way we measure our products remains the same. Read more about the production of our renowned stoneware. Our stoneware items are all hand-crafted to fit the dimensions specified in the product pages so please be aware there might be slight variations to what is specified on the product pages.

Plates

Denby plates come in various shapes and sizes to best fit your meal time habits. Both our rimmed style plates and our coupe style plates are made with a slight well to collect the tasty juices from your hearty meals. The rimmed style plates offer a decorative band to frame your meals whereas the coupe styled plates are slightly smaller, and are made with the intent for the food to be the star of the show. They are perfect for both best and everyday use, with our stoneware plates also suitable for the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher. Bowls

We have many bowl designs to fit different cuisines and purposes in the home. Our bowls are versatile. For example, a small bowl can be used as a decorative key holder, a dipping bowl or an appetiser dish. Denby offers a wide range of bowls, such as, cereal bowls, rice bowls, pasta bowls, ramen bowls, nesting bowls, serving bowls and more. Mugs

Denby mugs are designed to offer you comfort and style, including ergonomic designs to fit the hand, beautiful glazes and our stoneware mugs are even usable in the  microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer. This means you can warm your milk for hot chocolates or microwave your soup directly in the mug. Kitchen utensils

Here at Denby, our kitchen utensils are designed to be stylish, effective and easy to use. We have wood and silicone utensils with stylish and ergonomic wooden handles, and sturdy stainless-steel utensils that are extremely hard-wearing and look fantastic on display in your kitchen. Pots & pans

Denby offer a variety of pots and pans from Stainless Steel, Cast Iron grill pans, Cast Aluminium and Anodised pans. All are designed to make cooking enjoyable and offer fantastic results. Glassware

Our glassware caters for a wide range of beverages, from wines and cocktails to refreshing smoothies or juices. Denby offers wine glasses, tumblers, gin glasses and more. Capacity

Capacity measurements are shown, in millimetres, for our drinkware, jugs, and bowls. The measurement is given for the capacity if filled to the brim, so please be aware that in practical terms the items will hold less. The example on the right is showcasing our Denby Contemporary Smoked Grey Large Tumbler.
