Inspired by the colours and textures found in the natural world Kiln Blue is a combination of uniquely Denby glazing techniques used to echo the movement and multi faceted tones of waves. A collection designed to sit comfortably together in an on trend inky blue colour way or alone as capsule items design for the way you live - the place setting items are restrained and uncomplicated with the soft white glaze and gentle inky blue stipples, the dramatic reactive glaze effect pools on the serving items that alone are stunning pieces of art but combined with the place setting items create eye catching centre pieces and the now iconic ally Denby hand dipped effect is used on the taller items and creates the layers of colours and texture found in the depths of a wave. All handcrafted in Derbyshire the collection uses artisan, studio potter inspired effects such as dappled sprayed and an over dipped glazing, and compromises of multi-functional pieces that are beautiful for eating, serving and displaying in any room in the home.
