Cast Iron care & use:
Perfect for slow cooking on a low heat, Cast Iron Cookware ensures even heat distribution, is energy efficient and has the best heat
retaining qualities.
• Wash before first use and dry thoroughly.
• Cast iron can break if knocked or dropped.
• Suitable for use on gas, electric hobs, solid fuel, induction, ceramic and halogen hobs.
• Oven safe up to a temperature of 250°C/428°F/Gas Mark 7.
• Only blackened enamel surfaces i.e. griddles pans can be heated dry. Otherwise ensure appropriate cooking liquid is added before heating commences.
• Do not use a high heat or allow to boil dry as this can overheat the dish and severe damage can occur.
• Take care when handling hot dishes and always use an oven glove or mitt.
• Use nylon, wooden, silicone or heat resistant plastic utensils as metal may scratch the surface.
• Protect surfaces before placing hot pans onto them.
• After use allow to cool before placing in water otherwise the enamel coating may be permanently damaged.
• Dishwasher safe, however, continued washing in a dishwasher, may result in discolouration of the enamel surface over time.
• Hand wash with detergent and a brush or nylon pad. Do not use steel wool or metal pads. Additional soaking may be required.
• After cleaning, ensure the dish is fully dry and re-condition any blackened enamel surfaces with cooking oil.
• Due to the design, we can only guarantee compatibility of the reversible griddle with a gas hob although it may work with other types.

- Stainless Steel pans are both strong and resilient and the aluminium encapsulated base give excellent heat distribution. With their easy to clean, hygenic surface, stainless steel pans are the ideal choice for the busy kitchen.

- Never add salt to a cold pans as under some conditions a blueing of the metal may occur; this is not a fault but a normal property of stainless steel. This may also cause pitting.

General care & use of utensils:
- Before using for the first time, wash utensils in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Not suitable for ovens and microwaves.
- Salt, acids such as vinegar and lemon juice, mineral salts which are present in tap water, bleach, harsh detergents, fats and meat juices are corrosive and could damage the utensils. We recommend that all utensils are washed as soon as possible after use.
- All items are dishwasher safe but please ensure you wipe with a damp cloth as soon as cycle is complete to prevent water and food marks.
- Silicone utensils are heat resistant and won't mark or scratch any coated, enamelled or ceramic surface, so are safe to use on all pans.
- Silicone utensils are heat safe.
- Not suitable for ovens and microwaves.
- Do not use over direct heat as this will cause the silicone tools to melt.

- Stainless steel is not completely 'mark proof'. It is designed to be more resistant to marking or staining than other metals, but contact with certain substances will start the process that leads to staining and pitting.
