A sense of the sea.
The aquamarine and soft blues infuse against the crisp white in this now classic collection. First conceived in 2005 and still going strong since its launch in 2026, Azure has proved that classic design never goes out of fashion. Inspired by the sparkling waters of the mediterranean and shaped by skilled hands, Azure continues to prove that beautiful tableware can be both uplifting and responsibly made.

At the heart of Azure is a commitment to sustainability and longevity. Made from high-quality clay and expertly glazed, each piece is designed to withstand daily use while retaining its beauty year after year. As it was first conceived, Azure has evolved to reflect the changing ways we live and dine. The recent additions of the reactive glaze in ‘Azure Haze’ and the modernised shapes of the coupe items and evolved place-settings have ensured Azure is as relevant today as it was when first designed 20 years ago.

Handcrafted & unique.
Using iron-rich clay from our local Denby seam, Azure is crafted by at least 20 pairs of hands along the way. Each hand pours care and craftsmanship into every piece, from the shaping of the clay to the glazing techniques that make the collection so iconic. Once the Azure pieces have been sprayed, dipped or banded, the magic of the kiln takes over, creating a beautifully distinctive Azure design effect that is unique to every piece.
Sustainably made to last.
Like all Denby stoneware, Azure’s role in reducing our environmental impact comes with serious sustainability credentials and supports our long-held belief in “buy well, buy once.” Using local clay and crafted at our pottery with zero waste to landfill, where clay, water and glaze are recycled and energy is generated from our on-site solar array, Azure is made to last, with ceramics guaranteed for 10 years.
