Plant a mini Christmas Tree.

Decorate your table with these small Christmas trees potted in mugs for a natural, woodland look. Not just for the table, they can be used to add a festive touch all around your home

You will need:


  • Denby mugs (we have chosen a Studio Grey Handleless Mug)
  • All-purpose compost Mini spruce trees
  • Battery powered fairy lights

Method:

  • Step 1
    Add compost. Fill compost in your mug to about halfway full.
  • Step 2
    Loosen the roots. Tease the tree out of it's existing container and loosen the roots.
  • Step 3
    Add your mini Christmas tree. Put the tree in your mug ensuring it is upright and nestled in nicely. Add more compost if you need to.
  • Step 4
    Add fairy lights. Finish with miniature fairy lights wrapped around the tree- this makes a beautiful little centrepiece for your Christmas table or you can create lots of trees for a dramatic forest inspired look.
