Carrot Halwa Jars

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g carrot halwa (Indian carrot pudding)
  • 1 cup double cream
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar
  • 2- 3 drop almond extract 
  • Nuts and rose petals 

FOR ASSEMBLY

  • Carrot Halwa
  • Almond Cream
  • Nuts and rose petals for garnishing

METHOD:

  1. Place double cream and icing sugar into a mixing bowl of a stand mixer and whip till stiff peaks are achieved.
  2. Stir in Almond Extract to the cream.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Layer the base of the glass or jars with the Indian carrot pudding. Top it with a layer of cream.
  5. Add another layer of carrot halwa, cream, and finally garnish with chopped almond & dried rose petals.
  6. Chill until you are ready to serve.
