At Denby Pottery Village, we are renowned for running creative workshops of all kinds. Now you can hire our dedicated indoor, fully accessible workshop space, perfect for running your own creative workshops, art class, makers events and more. Plus with free car parking, a choice of eateries and plenty of shopping, Denby Pottery Village is the perfect destination for your workshop.
Workshops usually take place in our dedicated Discovery Room and the space is hired on an exclusive basis, so you can run your class without distraction.
The workshop is booked in blocks of 3 hours:
9am – 12pm
1pm – 4pm
We can accommodate full day workshop hire, simply let us know at time of booking.
Please ensure you book enough time to set-up and pack-up, as we may have another booking after yours.
Tables and chairs to seat up to 12 people.
Access to electrical outlets.
Overhead lighting.
Heating.
Access to visitor toilets.
Tea and coffee available from the nearby café and restaurant.
Free drink voucher to redeem in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro for each of your customers.
* Please note that only drinks with lids are allowed in the workshop space*.

Marketing your workshop
You need to use your own booking platform and take your participants bookings and payments.
We do not support the marketing and advertising of your workshop, however, subject to availability and timing, we may, on occasion, reshare the workshop details across our social media channels.
We may, on occasion, also add your workshop details to our workshop page on the Denby Pottery Village website with a link to your booking platform – please provide workshop image, and all relevant details etc if required.
Health & Safety
Prior to your workshop, you must complete our Health & Safety induction and agree to always abide by our Health & Safety guidelines.
You must provide a Risk Assessment prior to the workshop.
You must Public Liability Insurance of at least £5m at time of booking.
If you employ anyone who will take the workshop, you must provide Employers Liability Insurance up to £10m.
You must stay with your customers for the duration of your workshop.
You will be given a 2-way radio to contact a Denby team member in case of emergency.
You must report all health & safety incidents to the Denby management team as soon as they occur.
